Samantha's Birthday...in Detail

Hello, dear readers! So, Samantha's birthday was on Friday, and although Sam and I didn't do a big post then, we promised to do one today.

I went over to her house Friday evening to celebrate with her family. After dinner, we had a tasty cake with vanilla frosting and sprinkles.



Then, Samantha opened her gifts. I gave her some pretty hair clips. Her mom and dad gave her a gift card, a few books, and some stuff for her room. She got this beautiful necklace from her aunt.



I stayed the night. We played games, watched a movie, styled each other's hair, and ate snacks. It was oodles of fun!

Kit: Hey, everybody! Kit and Samantha here.

Sam: It's my eleventh birthday!

Kit: We're having a sleepover to celebrate.

2011 Already?

Wow, I can't believe 2010 is over. (I know, it's been over for a day, but I was a little busy on New Year's Day.) Anyway, happy New Year, everybody! I hope your 2011 has gotten off to a great start!

My Birthday

I'm so happy because, as you may know, today is my birthday! I'll share a little bit about what I've done so far today.

My family and friends sent so many wonderful gifts. I got a really cool bouncy ball, a stuffed unicorn, the book Black Beauty, a pretty diary, and lots of cards.

Samantha came over to help me celebrate! We had so much fun. She gave me a big yellow box. Inside was a really sweet card she made and the board game, Sorry!, which I have been wanting for a while.



I thought that was all, but at the bottom of the box there was a beautiful green bracelet that matched my dress!



I added her card to the collection I already had.



It was time to eat the delicious-looking cake Mom had made. She even set the table fancy for us.





The cake was very tasty. Here I am enjoying it!



I love having birthdays! I hope I have lots of fun adventures this year as a 10-year-old.
