Presenting...the Festival!

Samantha here!

At our student council meeting yesterday, we made posters for the Annual RSSG Festival! I helped put some up today during recess.

Basically, Reisbrook Secondary School for Girls always has an year-end celebration. There are performances in the theater (sort of a mini talent show) and tons of food for sale outside. There's an open house, too, so parents can see all the projects and stuff hung on the walls or say hi to the teacher.

Student council does all the organizing, advertising, and decorating. Luckily, we have a decent budget from fundraising throughout the year. I know the festival will be great!

That's all for now...

Samantha's Birthday...in Detail

Hello, dear readers! So, Samantha's birthday was on Friday, and although Sam and I didn't do a big post then, we promised to do one today.

I went over to her house Friday evening to celebrate with her family. After dinner, we had a tasty cake with vanilla frosting and sprinkles.

Then, Samantha opened her gifts. I gave her some pretty hair clips. Her mom and dad gave her a gift card, a few books, and some stuff for her room. She got this beautiful necklace from her aunt.

I stayed the night. We played games, watched a movie, styled each other's hair, and ate snacks. It was oodles of fun!

See ya later,
Kit

Happy Birthday, Samantha!

Kit: Hey, everybody! Kit and Samantha here.

Sam: It's my eleventh birthday!

Kit: We're having a sleepover to celebrate.

Sam: Kit or I will post a few pictures and a detailed account of my birthday sometime on Saturday or Sunday, so stay tuned...

Your buds,
Kit and Samantha

I'm Back...but Sad

Oh my gosh! It's already almost May!

I know I've been gone FOREVER...I took a hiatus because of my super busy schedule.

I wasn't even planning on posting today, but I have to.

Why?

Because I feel like crying.

Why?

I just found out that Sitara closed her Youtube and blog.

Her videos were always so amazing...I wish that they could still be viewed in an archive or something. Everything she did was just so inspirational. She is still on Flickr and Etsy, but it's just not the same. I guess I could never truly understand her life, knowing her only from a distance, but I respect her decision and hope that whatever her situation is turns out alright.

And maybe, just maybe, she will someday come back to Youtube and repost those phenomenal videos that always made me smile, or cry, or just sit there in awe.

Sitara, you will be missed and never forgotten.

Sadly,
Kit
